I’ve heard the term Asynchronous Learning used in online education. Can someone explain what Asynchronous Learning involves and its benefits?

Asynchronous learning allows students to access course materials, lectures, and assignments on their own schedule, without real-time interaction. Unlike traditional classes, which meet at set times, asynchronous learning offers flexibility and is often online. This format supports self-paced study, ideal for students balancing school with other responsibilities.
