What is the difference between site and situation in geography?

I’m having trouble understanding the concepts of site and situation. Can someone explain the difference with examples?
 
In geography, site refers to the exact physical location of a place (its land, climate, and resources), while situation describes the place’s location in relation to other places or features around it.
 
In geography, site is the physical location of a place (its land, climate and resources) whereas situation is the location of the place in relation to the other places or features around it.
