What is the difference between "send" and "sent"?

The present tense is the word send which can be used when an action is in process or in the future, like I will send the email. Sent is a past tense that is applied to actions that have already been performed, such as I sent the message yesterday. The two are associated with a transfer of something.

The word send is in the present tense and can be used when an action is in progress or in the future, such as "I will send the email." Sent is a past tense used to describe acts that have already occurred, such as I sent the message yesterday. Both are related with the transfer of something.

“Send” is like saying you’re gonna do it now or later, and “sent” is when it’s already done. Like, “I’ll send you the message in a sec.” “I sent it an hour ago.”
Super simple once you think of it that way.

“Send” is either present tense (now or future), while “Sent” can either be past tense or past participle depending on its usage.

While "sent" is the past tense and is used when the action has already taken place (e.g., "I sent the file yesterday"), "send" is the present tense and is used when discussing something that is happening now or in the future (e.g., "I will send the file").

“Send” is the present tense (e.g., Please send the file), while “sent” is the past tense and past participle (e.g., I sent the file yesterday).
