What does BIDMAS stand for in math?

I’m confused about BIDMAS and how it helps with solving equations. Can someone explain it simply?

BODMAS stands for Brackets, Orders, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction. It tells you the correct order to solve math problems.
Example:
Solve 6 + (2 × 3)² ÷ 3
Step 1: Brackets → 2 × 3 = 6
Step 2: Orders → 6² = 36
Step 3: Division → 36 ÷ 3 = 12
Step 4: Addition → 6 + 12 = 18

This rule helps avoid mistakes in complex calculations.
