How far is the Moon in light-years from Earth?

I know the Moon is relatively close to Earth, but I’m curious how that distance translates into light-years. Can someone explain or calculate it for me?

The distance between the earth and the Moon is approximately 1.28 light-seconds or 4 x 10 -8 light-years. That is approximately 238,855 miles (384,400 kilometers).

Astronomically speaking, the Moon is very close! The distance from Earth is only around $1.28$ light-seconds.This is equivalent to about $0.00000004$ light-years. From the Moon to us, light travels in a little more than a second.
