I’m planning to use SIMS Learning Gateway to check my child’s attendance, grades, and behavior reports. Would love to hear if it’s easy to use or has any drawbacks!

Yes, I’ve used it. It's pretty user-friendly for checking attendance and grades, though sometimes it can be a bit slow or glitchy.

Yes — many schools use SIMS Learning Gateway (SLG) to let students and parents access class schedules, homework, and school reports online. It’s especially helpful for tracking progress, communicating with teachers, and staying updated with school activities.

A well-liked parent/student portal for accessing school data from the main SIMS system, such as attendance, reports, and behavior, was SIMS Learning Gateway (SLG). However, its developer (ESS) is currently phasing it out in favor of more modern options like the SIMS Parent App.
