Can someone give one clear example of a primary economic activity? I’m trying to understand activities that directly involve the use of natural resources

One example of a primary economic activity is farming. It involves growing crops and raising livestock by directly using natural resources like land, water, and sunlight. Farmers produce raw materials such as wheat, rice, vegetables, milk, and cotton, which are later processed into finished goods.

Farming is an example of a primary economic activity, as it involves extracting resources directly from nature.

Farming is an illustration of one of the main economic activities. Farming is the cultivation of crops and rearing of animals out of the natural resources. It offers raw materials such as food, cotton, and grains which are processed and manufactured in the secondary industries.

Farming (agriculture) is a typical instance. It is a primary activity since it entails the direct removal of natural resources from the land. This phase yields the raw materials such as crops, wood, and minerals, which the rest of the economy later turns into finished goods.
