I’m curious about language learning and different levels of difficulty.
Which language is considered the hardest to learn, and why?
I’d love to hear different opinions and experiences.

The hardest language to learn depends on your native language, but generally, languages like Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, and Korean are considered challenging. They have complex writing systems, tones, or grammar structures that differ significantly from English, making them difficult for non-native speakers to master.

The hardest language to learn depends on your native language. For English speakers, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, and Korean are often hardest due to complex writing systems, tones, grammar differences, and cultural context.

The language that is most difficult to learn is based on your native language but Mandarin Chinese is said to be the most difficult to the English speakers. It is tonally spoken, has complicated characters and grammar variations. Other difficult languages would be Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Hungarian because of writing systems and structure.

Because of its tonal nature and thousands of characters, Mandarin Chinese is generally regarded as the most difficult for English speakers. Arabic, Japanese, Korean, and Cantonese are additional "Category V" languages.
