What is a good score for the NMSQT?

Your state and year are some of the determinants of a good score on NMSQT, although the higher your score, the more scholarship you are qualified to receive. Competitive scores will generally exceed national average by a significant margin.

An excellent score in NMSQT would be one that scores above the national average. Greater scores increase the likelihood of being eligible to receive National Merit and scholarships.

A good NMSQT score is typically 1400 or higher on the PSAT/NMSQT scale. Scores at or above this range may qualify students for National Merit recognition, depending on state-specific cutoff scores and annual competition standards.
