N nikhilrajoria Member Jul 25, 2025 #2 The standard 3D shapes are cube, sphere, cylinder, cone, rectangular prism, and pyramid.
G Grace Member Oct 3, 2025 #3 Some typical naming of 3D shapes include: Cube -Every side is the same, as a dice. Cuboid (Rectangular Prism) - Six rectangular type faces. Sphere - Ideally round, as in a ball. Cylinder Two parallel circular faces joined together with a curved face. Cone - Base of circular form and tapers to a point. Pyramid- Base triangle (polygon) which has triangular faces, meeting at a point. Tetrahedron - Pyramid having a triangular base (four faces). Prism- Two similar polygonal faces joined with rectangles. These are the most widespread shapes of 3D learned at school.
