I want to know how to delete an Uber account. I’m no longer using Uber and would like to remove my account and personal data. What are the exact steps to delete an Uber account using the app or website? Also, is there a waiting period before the account is fully deleted?

If‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ you want to remove your Uber account, you can do it by opening the Uber app, navigating to Settings > Privacy > Delete Account, typing in your password to verify, and then completing the instructions that appear on the screen. Your account won't be removed immediately as it will be deactivated first and finally deleted after 30 days if you don't sign in during that ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌time.

Open the Uber app or website, go to Settings > Privacy > Delete Account, log in, and confirm the request. Your account stays deactivated for 30 days, after which it’s permanently deleted if you don’t log back in.

To delete your Uber account, open the Uber app, go to Settings → Privacy → Account Deletion, verify with the OTP sent to you, and confirm. Your account will be permanently deleted after 30 days if you don’t log in again.

Open the Uber app, navigate to Account->Settings->Privacy->Privacy Center. Scroll down and tap on Account Deletion. Complete the steps to verify your identity and give your consent. Note: The account is deactivated for 30 days before it gets permanently deleted.

In the Uber app on the web or in the site: Settings Privacy Delete Your Uber Account, provide the verification, delete your account, and data.

Open the Uber app → tap Profile → Settings → Privacy → Delete Account.
Enter your password and confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days if not reactivated.

You can delete your Uber account by opening the Uber app, tapping Menu - Settings - Privacy and selecting Delete Account. Authenticate your log-in and proceed with what is on the screen. Your account is deactivated instantly and permanently deleted after approximately 30 days without any logs in.

If you want to delete Uber account fully, the process is actually pretty straightforward but a lot of people don’t realize there’s a waiting period. You can do it through the app or website here’s how I did mine:

On the Uber app:
  1. Open Uber app → tap your profile icon
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll down and tap Privacy Settings
  4. Tap Delete Your Account
  5. Follow the prompts (they’ll ask you to confirm your password and reason)
On the web:
  1. Go to Uber’s privacy settings page
  2. Log in → Find Delete Your Account
  3. Confirm and submit
After you request deletion, they usually keep your data for a short period (~30 days) in case you change your mind. After that, it’s supposed to be gone (at least according to their privacy policy).

To delete your Uber account:
Open the Uber software - Account - Settings - Privacy - Account Deletion. Ensure that you follow the prompts and identify. In case you do not log in again, your account is deactivated immediately and deleted permanently after 30 days. It can be deleted as well through browser at myprivacy.uber.com.

You can delete your Uber account from the app’s privacy settings. After requesting deletion, your account is permanently removed after a waiting period.

Uber accounts can be deleted through the app’s privacy settings. Once requested, the account is permanently removed after a short deactivation period.

To delete your Uber account, open the Uber app, go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account, and follow the prompts to confirm.

Using the Uber application or Web site, select Settings / Privacy / Delete Your Uber Account, undergo identity verification processes and your account will be deleted.
