How to delete uber account?

I want to know how to delete an Uber account. I’m no longer using Uber and would like to remove my account and personal data. What are the exact steps to delete an Uber account using the app or website? Also, is there a waiting period before the account is fully deleted?

If‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ you want to remove your Uber account, you can do it by opening the Uber app, navigating to Settings > Privacy > Delete Account, typing in your password to verify, and then completing the instructions that appear on the screen. Your account won't be removed immediately as it will be deactivated first and finally deleted after 30 days if you don't sign in during that ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌time.

On the Uber app:

1. Open Uber app → tap your profile icon

4. Tap Delete Your Account
5. Follow the prompts (they’ll ask you to confirm your password and reason)

On the web:

1. Go to Uber’s privacy settings page
