How many weeks are there in two years?

I'm trying to figure out how many weeks are in a 2-year period. Should I consider leap years in the calculation? Appreciate any help!

In two years, there are about 104 weeks.
  • If both years are non-leap (365 days each): 104 weeks + 2 days (730 days).
  • If the span includes one leap year (366 + 365): 104 weeks + 3 days (731 days).
So for quick estimates, use 104 weeks, noting the extra 2–3 days depending on leap year timing.

Typically, one calendar year is taken as 52 weeks, since 52 × 7 = 364 days. Therefore, two years are about 104 weeks. However, a common year has 365 days and a leap year has 366, so two specific years contain 104 weeks plus 2 or 3 extra days. Over long averages, two years ≈ 104.29 weeks, on average overall.
