I need to know how many ounces are in 1 and 1/3 cups for a recipe I’m following. Can someone provide the exact conversion? Also, any tips on measuring liquid and dry ingredients accurately would be helpful!

It’s about 10.67 ounces for liquids since 1 cup is 8 oz, I usually just eyeball a little over 10 and a half and for accuracy, use a liquid measuring cup for liquids and level off dry ingredients with a knife, it really helps!

1 and 1/3 cups is about 10.67 ounces for liquids since 1 cup = 8 oz. I usually use a liquid measuring cup at eye level for accuracy and lightly scoop dry ingredients without packing them

To convert 1 ⅓ cups to ounces, use the standard US measurement: 1 cup = 8 ounces. Multiply 8 oz × 1 ⅓ (which is 1.333…). Step by step: 8 × 1 = 8, 8 × 0.333 ≈ 2.664. Add them: 8 + 2.664 ≈ 10.664 ounces. So, 1 ⅓ cups ≈ 10.66 ounces.

"Hey there, I think I can help you out. For a dry measuring cup like the ones you'd use for flour or sugar, 1 cup is usually equal to 8 fluid ounces. However, since you mentioned 1 and 1/3 cups, we can just multiply that by 8. So 1 and 1/3 cups would be around 10.67 ounces. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions!"

For the conversion, 1 cup is typically equal to 8 ounces, so 1 and 1/3 cups would be 1.33 times that, which is around 10.67 ounces. When measuring liquids, it's best to use a liquid measuring cup and place it on a flat surface to get an accurate reading, and for dry ingredients, use a dry measuring cup and scoop or spoon the ingredients into it, then level it off with a straight edge to ensure you're getting the right amount, this way you can avoid over or under measuring and get the best results for your recipe.
