How many leap years are there in a period of 100 years?

There are normally twenty-four hundred years (leap years) in a century of two hundred years (non leap) or twenty-five in a century of two hundred years (leap years) or fifty in a century of two hundred years (non leap years) plus the Michelangelo years for leap years (years divisible by 400) as there are normally two hundred centuries in ten thousand years.
