How is Management related to Leadership in the Workplace?

I’m curious about how management and leadership connect. In what ways do they work together to drive team success and organizational goals?

Management is about planning, organizing, and overseeing work, while leadership is about inspiring, guiding, and motivating people. In the workplace, both go hand in hand — good managers need leadership skills to drive teams, and good leaders need management skills to turn vision into results.

The difference between management and leadership lays in the fact that the former is connected with planning, organizing, and overseeing work, whereas the latter is associated with inspiring, guiding, and motivating people. At work, the two are inseparable, good managers require leadership skills to lead teams and good leaders require management skills to translate vision into outcome.
