Can parents access student progress on Classroom G+?

The parent does not have a direct access to the Google Classroom account of their child. Nevertheless, they are able to get email reports of the work and progress of their student in a course. These briefs cover details like work that is missed, assignments that are yet to be done and what was done in the classes. In order to get these summaries, parents have to be invited by the teacher or school administrator of the student. After acceptance, parents are given the option of the frequency of the emails (daily or weekly) and can control their settings with the help of a Google Account.
