One of my enrolled classes isn’t showing up on Blackboard UCMO. Is this a system delay, or do I need to contact my instructor or tech support to fix it?
Make sure you are officially enrolled and that the semester has begun if your course isn't appearing on Blackboard UCMO. The course may appear closer to the start date because instructors occasionally publish it a little later. Try using a different browser or clearing your browser's cache if everything appears to be in order. Get in touch with your instructor or the UCMO IT/Blackboard support staff if it still doesn't appear. They can verify whether the course is active and resolve any account problems.
It’s often just a system delay or the instructor hasn’t made the course visible yet. Give it a little time. If it’s still missing after a day or two, I’d email your instructor first, then reach out to UCMO tech support if needed.
This usually happens due to a system delay or because the instructor hasn’t made the course live yet. If it’s been a day or two, I’d email your instructor first, if they say it’s active, then tech support can sort it out fast.
UCMO has switched to Brightspace to Blackboard. By Summer 2025, courses will be taken out of Blackboard. Look into your Brightspace account. In case the course is still not present, call the Technology Support Center at 660-543-4357 or tsc@ucmo.edu.
In case your course is not featured in Blackboard UCMO, make sure initially you make sure you are enrolled in the student portal. In case you are enrolled, are the log out and remove browser cache. Still missing? Access to this is available through contact UCMO IT or your instructor.
