I'm a bit confused about how to calculate the mass of one mole of oxygen. Should I use the atomic mass of oxygen (O) or the molecular mass of O₂? Can someone clarify?
What is the mass of 1 mole of oxygen in grams?

The mass of 1 mole of oxygen atoms (O) is 16 grams. If you mean oxygen gas (O₂), which is how it exists naturally, then 1 mole of O₂ has a mass of 32 grams.
