What is the Greatest Common Factor and how do you find it?

I’m learning about factors and came across the term Greatest Common Factor. Can someone explain what the Greatest Common Factor is with a quick example?

The Greatest Common Factor (GCF) is the largest number that divides exactly into two or more numbers. To find it, list the factors of each number and identify the highest number they have in common.
