How to build good habits?

I want to understand how to build good habits that can actually stick for a long time. Many times I start something positive like exercising, reading daily, or waking up early, but after a few days I lose motivation and stop.

To build good habits, start with small and simple actions you can repeat daily. Set a clear routine and practice the habit at the same time each day. Track your progress and reward small achievements. Consistency, reminders, and supportive environments help habits become automatic over time.

It is important to start building good habits with small and consistent steps. In Psychology, the professionals recommend that one should select a specific objective and connect the habit with the routine. Begin small then it can be repeated in a day. Monitor your progress and reward yourself on consistency. Distraction is also a problem, so eliminating it and establishing a productive atmosphere is beneficial. In the long-term, by doing the same motion repeatedly, the discipline will become strong until it becomes a habit and a way of life.

Building good habits requires making them obvious, attractive, easy, and satisfying. Start by anchoring new behaviors to existing routines (e.g., "After I brush my teeth, I will meditate for one minute"). Focus on small, consistent actions (the 2-minute rule) rather than huge changes to create lasting, automatic behaviors.
