How many seconds are there in a day?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to calculate how many seconds are in a full day (24 hours). Can someone help me with the exact number?

There are 86,400 seconds in a day.
Calculation:

1 day = 24 hours

1 hour = 60 minutes

1 minute = 60 seconds
→ 24 × 60 × 60 = 86,400 seconds

There are 86,400 seconds in a day (24 hours × 60 minutes × 60 seconds). For example, one hour has 3,600 seconds, so a full day has 24 × 3,600 = 86,400 seconds.

There are 86,400 seconds in a day. You get this by multiplying 24 hours by 60 minutes and then by 60 seconds. This number stays the same for every standard day, though leap seconds are occasionally added to adjust Earth’s timekeeping. It’s a simple but useful calculation for understanding time.

There are 86,400 seconds in a standard day, calculated by multiplying 24 hours by 60 minutes and then by 60 seconds. This fixed number applies to most days, although leap seconds are occasionally added to coordinate atomic time with Earth’s rotation, slightly adjusting the total for improved timekeeping accuracy overall.

A standard day has 86,400 seconds (24 hours × 60 minutes × 60 seconds). This differs slightly from an astronomical day because Earth’s rotation changes over time. Leap seconds are occasionally added to keep atomic time aligned with Earth’s rotation, ensuring global timekeeping remains accurate.
